Inpatient Stay Fabrication
In January 2024, while Mr. Bedell begged Ms. Babcock to work on their relationship, Mr. Bedell made many concerning statements which caused Ms. Babcock to need to call the Ipswich PD to have Mr. Bedell taken in to hospital. Mr. Bedell continued to text Ms. Babcock while under their watch telling Ms. Babcock he is not mad at her and that he needed the help. Mr. Bedell then claimed he was being transferred to an inpatient hospital. Concerned for Mr. Bedell, Ms. Babcock drove up to Mass and let Mr. Bedell know she was on his way up. Mr. Bedell over the next several days concocted stories of being in the inpatient hospital. Stories of fellow inpatients having breakdowns causing lockdowns, stories of the meds the drs were giving him, stories on the food he was eating down to the color of his jello. Finding it suspicious that Mr. Bedell was able to text while in the hospital, Ms. Babcock started pressing Mr. Bedell for more information. Such as what hospital he was in, asking to send a photo of the ground, etc. Mr. Bedell sent a apple maps screenshot showing he was at a lahey group hospital in Mass. Ms. Babcock asked for some discreet photos of Mr. Bedells leg in the hospital. Mr. Bedell proceeded to send the 2 photos to the left. Ms. Babcock immediately knew Mr. Bedell was lying seeing that the concrete floor and walls looked exactly like his work, as well as the fact that Inpatients do not have access to wheely chairs due to safety. As well as Mr. Bedell's normal day to day socks. Pressing Mr. Bedell on this, we finally admitted that he made the entire thing up and was in his friends basement.

Cheating
From the beginning of 2023 and throughout the final year of Mr. Bedell and Ms. Babcock's relationship, Mr. Bedell cheated on Ms. Babcock with at minimum 2 women with multiple others suspected. One being his current fiance from New Hampshire. Mr. Bedell did not tell Ms. Babcock he was seeing anyone nor did he let his "Girlfriend" know he was engaged. Mr. Bedell led a double life for almost 12 months. Mr. Bedell took both women on vacations and trips and somehow maintained the perfect lie so neither women knew about each other. Not only did he maintain a girlfriend while engaged, Mr. Bedell also cheated on both his then fiance Ms. Babcock and his secret girlfriend with his Co worker. Mr. Bedell even hired said co worker on an out of state job at his zoo job in Winter 2023 and slept together multiple times while claiming to be not speaking to said co worker. Ms. Babcock and his now fiance only found out about each other from Ms. Babcock posting on a AWDTSG facebook group.
Mr. Bedell has cheated on almost every significant other he has had. Including his long term partner which he owned a house with prior to Ms. Babcock. Before that with his other long term partner located in Sarasota FL. Mr. Bedell also cheated on his now Fiance Jennifer Boss with his ex co worker Shannon K and others.

Other Victims
Ms. Babcock is not Mr. Bedell's only victim. Multiple other women came forward in the investigation against Mr. Bedell's assault on Ms. Babcock.

Mr. Bedell currently has at least 1 other case pending charges by the states DA.
